Assisted Living communities are designed for seniors who are no longer able to live on their own safely but do not require the high level of care provided in a nursing home. Assistance with medications, activities of daily living, meals and housekeeping are routinely provided.

A stay in a skilled nursing facility is usually temporary in nature and is focused on rehabilitation that is intended to prepare the resident to return to their independent apartment. Assisted living services typically provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medications, and meal preparation.

If you wish to teach beyond the high-school level, you will need at least a master's degree. Many 2-year community colleges often hire instructors with only master's degrees, as long as they have some teaching experience.
